Your gental face and patient smile

With sadness we recall

You had a kindly thought for each

And died beloved by all.

The voice is mute and stilled the heart

That loved us well and true,

from one so good as you.

Forever Friends

Pets are friends of human kind.

Their love is unconditional,

And ever lasting.

Their needs are simple, but so often overlooked.

We are as a race, must learn the love and

understanding, that pets can teach us.

Can we ever forget the pets that we

Have had the blessing of knowing?

Maybe, one day, we will understand

their teachings.

Maybe we can return to the human race,

What pets have given us.
