Living with a PUG

Sharing a home with a pug is full of wonder and adventure. Each day is blessed with the guarantee of new experiences that help to deepen a persons understanding of what love, truly unconditional love, is.

No matter how hard I try, I can never give back to my dog what she has freely given to me, but I still try.

One of the things that sometimes come with getting older is cataracts.  My little girl is fifteen and half years old and has cataracts in both eyes.  The condition worsened to a point of her not being able to tell if the sliding glass door was open or shut.  A solution was found when my wife and I placed masking tape strips in a vertical pattern on the lower portion of the sliding glass door.  This solved our problem and allowed her to determine when the door was open or closed.  We soon realized that the tape would come loose when we cleaned the glass so we placed a vertical pattern with the tape and used latex paint to imprint the images upon the glass.  My girl was back to her lovable self in no time at all.
